Description

Baltic Rush can be found along the shorelines of Swamps, ditches, lakes and stream banks. It grows in saturated soil or slightly submerged and can withstand temporary flooding and high alkaline soil levels. The Baltic Rush is useful for stabilizing shorelines, regulation of nitrogen and phosphorus levels and filtration of harmful pollutants. Baltic Rush can grow to 75cm in height and will produce small flowers in the middle of the stem. We recommend that it be planted in saturated soil or in water to depths of 30 cm.
