Soft Stem Bulrush

Description
Soft Stem Bulrush can be found in swamps, marshes, wet ditches and lakes. It grows submerged and can withstand temporary flooding and high concentrations of alkaline in the soil. Soft Stem Bulrush is useful for waste-water filtration and is also useful at stabilizing water levels as their porous roots can absorb large amounts of water. They can grow to heights of 300cm and will produce small flowers at the top of the stem. We recommend that they be planted in soil submerged by 20cm to 50cm of water.
