Description

Prairie Bulrush can be found in streams, lakes, swamps, marshes, bogs, wet meadows. It grows in saturated soil or submerged and can withstand temporary flooding. Prairie Bulrush is useful for water filtration and prevention of shoreline erosion. They can grow to heights of 120m and will produce small flowers at the top of the stem. We recommend that they be planted in saturated soil or in water to depths of 20cm.
